Counting is an importation foundation skill. Working with technology is also important. I combined the two to make an interactive activity for kindergarteners. Introducing Counting to 10 Digital Task Cards.
WHAT IS THIS COUNTING GAME?
This digital activity can assess students understanding of punctuation. Students are given a sentence and they must determine the ending punctuation. They can choose between a period, exclamation point, or question mark.
HOW YOU PLAY THIS COUNTING ACTIVITY?
Task cards are cards with a single question that students must complete. This is great as students are not overwhelmed with numerous question all at once. Students record their answer on a recording sheet. The activity includes both printable and digital cards, saving you precious printing paper.
WHAT DEVICE CAN I USE THIS COUNTING GAME ON?
This game can be played on Smartboards, computers, or tablets. Makes it a simple game for the whole class, in small groups, or for individuals. One can even print them out and use them as task cards. To play, simply start the game in slideshow mode. Buttons are interactive and move you from slide to slide. No internet required!
