Q: I have a Smartboard, Promethean, Activboard, or Ipevo. Will the games still work?
A: Yes. I designed these games with each of these programs in mind. There should be no problem using the games for each type of board. Please be sure to use Microsoft Powerpoint so that the games work properly. Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer is a free program by Microsoft that works great too!
Q: I have the 97-2003 Powerpoint Program (or later). Will it still work?
A: Most products will work with this program. Download a freebie to make sure it works. Also try using Microsoft Powerpoint. Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer is a free program that is update to date with most animations and graphics from the original Microsoft Powerpoint program. If you have issues, contact me and we will come up with a solution.
Q: I have a Mac. Will the games still work?
A: Mac-iPad versions are included in my newer games. If it is not included in your purchase and need it, let me know and I can create it for you within a few hours. I am also back tracking and adding Mac-iPad version to all my older games.
Q: How do I type in scores in a Powerpoint Game?
A: To input score, simply click on the “00” and type in a score. A powerpoint game must be in “Slideshow Mode” in order to work. For Mac-iPad games, click on the “0” or “000” and the points will start to grow. For Mac-iPad games, points can only go up. Points can never go down.
Q: Where is the answer key? Is it missing?
A: For my worksheets, answer keys are included. You can create an answer key for powerpoint games by clicking print and changing “Slides” to “Handouts”. This works for most games. I am also going back through all my games and adding a printable answer key sheet.
Q: I can see the answers to questions. Is it not loading right? How do I get the answers to disappear?
A: All my games must be played in “Slideshow Mode”. When done so, the answers will be hidden until you click the “Answer” button. The answer will then appear. To play in “slideshow mode”, click the “projector screen” button located at the top left hand corner or the bottom right-hand corner of the Microsoft Powerpoint program/
Q: When I click “Answer” nothing happens. None of the buttons are working! Help!?
A: Again, all my games must be played in “Slideshow Mode”. When done so, the answers will be appear when clicking answer as well as any buttons that were not working previously. If the problem are still not working, contact me and I will look int oit.
Q: One of the questions/answer is incorrect. How do I fix it?
A: Contact me and I will fix them for you. I apologize for any inconveniences it may cause.
Q: I use the metric system. Can you change the measurement for me?
A: Of course! Please contact me and I will create a similar game made specifically with the metric system. I can also make custom powerpoint games that fit your specific needs.
Q: It says “Macros must be enabled”. What does that mean?
A: Macros is a program used within Microsoft Powerpoint to make certain actions work. For example, my flash card games use the macro “Random” in order for slides to be randomized. Apple products include Macbooks and iPads do not include the Macros programs. You will have to manually randomize the slides by dragging and dropping them in Microsoft Powerpoint.
Q: I see the words “Powerpoint Gaming” on some of your products .Who is that?
A: “Powerpoint Gaming” was name I used before I changed it to “Teacher Gameroom”. I own both names so there’s no need to worry about it! Please bare with me as I change the products with “Powerpoint Gaming” to “Teacher Gameroom”. =)
Q: The game I chose will not download. What’s wrong? What can I do?
A: There are a few things at play. (1) I didn’t add the game to the website yet. (2)You don’t have access to that game. Please make sure you have purchased a license to gain access to that area.
